The Musical Fountains Show

Enjoy the extraordinary beauty of the Château de Versailles gardens, exceptionally open to the public from 9a.m to 7p.m*, as you stroll with your family or friends through the groves and discover the fountains playing to the sound of the music that once brought them to life.

The 55 fountains and pools and their 600 water features, set in motion with the help of a lyre key by the Château de Versailles fountain specialists, will delight you. The greatest baroque composers, from Lully to Handel, will accompany you in your royal stroll in music.

The Colonnade Grove will be closed for safety works throughout April. However, it will still be visible through the gates, with the fountains filled with water.

Program and cast

Free admission : available for children up to 5 years old, who can access the Gardens without a ticket (proof of identity may be requested on-site) / for holders of the Château de Versailles Spectacles Card – Solo and Duo 1-Year Card for Versailles – and the Société des Amis de Versailles Card.

Practical information

Opening hours : 

The time indicated for the booking (9am) corresponds to the opening of the ticket offices and the groves.

Your ticket is valid from 9am until the groves close. All exits are final.

Ticket valid for one admission (access : Courtyard of the Princes, Little Venice, Menagerie, Dragon or Neptune Gates). A second admission is possible through a different gate than the one used for the first entry.

Please note :

1. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
2. Tour on foot, no seats available.
3. No re-entry once you leave.
4. Tickets are non-refundable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be returned, even in the event of bad weather.
5. The Musical Fountains Show take place regardless of weather conditions.

No duplicate will be issued, even in case of loss or theft.
